Scope and selections
The homeowner and provider document dimensions, problems, layout, allowances and responsibilities. Fixtures that affect rough plumbing are selected before work, and the permit path is confirmed.
Protection and demolition
Access routes are protected, utilities made safe and the agreed materials removed. The provider documents hidden damage or unsuitable previous work before changing the price or scope.
Rough construction
Framing, subfloor, plumbing, electrical and ventilation work occur while assemblies remain accessible. Required rough inspections happen before walls and floors conceal them.
Water management and finishes
The shower base, drain and waterproofing are completed and tested as required. Tile, cabinetry, paint, fixtures and glass follow in a sequence determined by dimensions and cure times.
Closeout
Controls, drainage, doors, ventilation and finished surfaces are checked. The homeowner receives care instructions, permit closeout where applicable and the actual provider's written warranty.
